WARDEN Book One

‘Max barely caught her bottom lip before it could lower in a pout. This chick was almost her polar opposite; she was tall and willowy where Max was short and curvy; she had straight light hair where Max had a frizzy mass of dark waves; and she had those perky apple tits! Max’s own breasts were an extremely healthy handful. She’d never had any complaints but how she would love to be able to roam braless and free!
“Is this your harem? And do you accept new members?” Max figured it couldn’t hurt to
ask. The pale Amazon gave a throaty chuckle. Wow. She had never been so tempted to switch teams before.
“No. This isn’t my harem.” The other woman eye-balled the men thoughtfully, “But it’s an intriguing idea.”’ Copyright 2015 Montana Ash

Diana cursed, her wet feet slipping on the tiles as she pin-wheeled her arms frantically trying to regain her balance. A pair of strong paladin arms caught her to a strong paladin chest and she inhaled automatically, taking in the masculine scent that was uniquely Darius. She looked up and allowed her eyes to feast on the beauty that was Darius’s flawless face. Strong angles, hazel eyes, long eyelashes, firm lips … she was never going to take looking at him for granted ever again.
“Hi …” She finally responded, a little breathlessly.’ Copyright 2016 Montana Ash

CHADE Book Three

‘Refocusing on the here and now, Cali nodded eagerly, “I am looking forward to a night off actually.”
Max snorted at that, “I bet. You’re a mite itchy there girl.”
“Huh?” Cali still had trouble following Max’s randomness sometimes.
“Itchy, you know …” she gestured to her pelvic area, fluttered her fingers a little, “… itchy.”
“What, like I have thrush or something?” She asked in shock. She sure hoped not. She didn’t feel like she did but Max could see things Cali couldn’t, so maybe …
Max laughed, “No. Not like thrush. Itchy as in horny. I’ve been here nearly five months and haven’t seen you even hold hands with a guy. You’ve gotta be horny girlfriend.”
“Oh. That kind of itchy,” Cali mulled it over, doing some silent calculations in her head and nearly fell over in shock when she realised it had been over a year since she had last gotten laid and she hadn’t even realised.’ Copyright 2016 Montana Ash

Meet The Author - Taylor Johns

Welcome all.

Today I’m very lucky to be Taylor Johns author of The X-Treme series (X-Treme Confusion, X-Treme Lies and Xavier Love Lilly), Her Wicked Fantasy,
Rebelling Love

ME: Hi Taylor Johns, thank you for agreeing to this interview. Tell us a little about yourself and your background?
TAYLOR JOHNS: A little about myself...just for the record, I hate this part of Q & As.  Let's see, I'm a wife of 22 years, mom to two great boys. The only thing bad about them is that they are teenagers. I work outside the home and my brain is always in author mode. Meaning, I'm always arguing with the voices in my head; they can be dickheads sometimes.

ME: What genre do you write?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Contemporary Romance, Erotic with an edge

ME: Which writers inspire you?

TAYLOR JOHNS: This is hard. Every author that I have the privilege to talk to inspires me, I just can't pick one. I'm learning something new every time I speak to someone that is on the same journey as I am.

ME: What are you working on at the minute?
TAYLOR JOHNS: X-Treme Caution. It's a spin off from my first series.

ME: Can you share a little of your current work with us?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Yes and no....haha. I just started working on it, but I can tell
you that Dawg isn’t going to be like my normal alpha asshole, but Laney will be my typical strong, sassy female that know what she likes when it comes to sex.

ME: Which actor/actress would you like to see playing the lead character from your most recent book?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Again, this is a hard one. Unlike my other woman, Laney is a blonde and I just can't think of an actress that I like that is a blonde.

ME: When did you decide to become a writer?
TAYLOR JOHNS: When my dad suddenly passed in 2014. It made me realize
that you need to pursue your dreams today, because tomorrow may not be here for you.

ME: Do you write on a typewriter, computer, dictate or longhand?

ME: Do you work to an outline or plot or do you prefer just to see where an idea takes you?
TAYLOR JOHNS: I try to, but sometimes the story takes a life of its own. But I do buy notebooks and write notes in it to keep track of ages, places and

ME: Do you read much and if so who are your favorite authors.
TAYLOR JOHNS: Not as much as I want to and what is up with these hard questions...UGH! My favorite... Well, depends what genre we are talking about.

ME: Do you think that giving books away free works and why?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Yes and no. It's actually a double edge sword. I've given
boat loads of books away in hopes of getting more reviews. I've gained several readers that way, but my reviews are still lacking.

ME: How do you relax?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Well this one is easy...  And if I can't have that, watching TV. I love movies and just sitting on the couch and not thinking. I call this my 'deadhead'

ME: What is your favorite book and why?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Nope. Can't answer. Asking me to pick my favorite book is like asking me to pick my favorite kid.

ME: What is your favorite quote?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Handle every stressful situation like a Dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, then piss on it and walk away.

ME: What advice would you give to aspiring writers?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Do this for yourself and your happiness. Write the story YOU want to read because you will never write a story that everyone will love. Also, realize you are a minnow in an ocean of whales. Writing is the easiest part, getting out there and noticed, well that is where the hard work starts. Last and not least, find your tribe. You will need them.

ME: What does your writing process look like?
TAYLOR JOHNS: It's different with each book. So, I really don't have an answer for this.

ME: What is your least favorite part of the publishing / writing process?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Reaching out to blogs. I've been doing this since June of 1015 and I still get nervous asking blogs for help in the promoting of my books.

ME: Is there a certain type of scene that's harder for you to write than others? Love? Action? Racy?

ME: Did you learn anything from writing your book(s) and what was it?
TAYLOR JOHNS: I'm my worse critic.

ME: Name one entity that you feel supported you outside of family members.
TAYLOR JOHNS: That would be Heather, my bestie. She has my back no matter what I do in life.

ME: Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Finding the time.  Working a job outside the home and tending to family takes up a lot of your time, but I still manage some time to listening to the voices and put them down on paper.

ME: What book are you reading now?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Ghostface Killer by M.Never

ME: Which famous person, living or dead would you like to meet and why?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Elvis. I just LOVE his music.

ME: What is your favorite theme/genre to write about?
TAYLOR JOHNS: I love my damaged asshole alphas and the strong women that put them back together again.

ME: What is your favorite theme/genre to read?

TAYLOR JOHNS: Anything with a great romance story, twists and turns, and steamy scenes

ME: What secret talents do you have?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Oh, I can't talk about them. The hubs doesn't like it when I brag. ;-) ... But I am a pretty crafty person. I love making new things out of old things.

ME: Where is one place you want to visit that you haven't been before?
TAYLOR JOHNS: I want to see the Aurora lights.

ME: How can readers discover more about you and you work? i.e. Website: Blog: Facebook: Twitter: Lnkedin: Pinterest: Amazon Author Page: Smashwords: Book Links: (* American, UK, etc.) Goodreads:

Amazon    Web page    Instagram

Or join a couple of my favorite groups;

ME: Is there anything else you would like to add that I haven’t included?
TAYLOR JOHNS: Not that I can think of right now, but I might have something once I try to sleep tonight. That is when my brain will go, "You know what you should have said..." lol  My brain is a real bitch sometimes. ;-)

ME: Thank you very much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to take part in this interview.
TAYLOR JOHNS: You're very welcome. Thanks for being interested in my thoughts and my work.

Love & Hugs, Taylor.

Must Read Monday

Desires Unleashed (The Loft Series Book 1)
Author: Miles Hightower
Genre: Romance, Erotica
Blurb: Desires Unleashed is a modern day erotic romance about a husband and
wife and their passion for one another. Miles Hightower writes the husband's POV and shares the desire of a man for his wife. Mitch and Molly have a happy marriage, but they are wanting something more. They both admit to having similar fantasies and desires that go beyond their current relationship. See which discoveries they act on and how their marriage handles their erotic adventure as their desires become unleashed.
My Review: I must say I won a copy of this book with no promises in return and offer my complete honest review. I heard people talk about this book and author and was excited to win a copy of this book and I was not disappointed. Hot, steamy, sexy just do not do justice to this book. This book is all of those words and more. This is the first time I have read a romance book from a man’s point of view and I must say I really did enjoy the insight. The characters are believable and the story line is plausible making this book even better. The author takes you on a sensual ride from the first page to the last keeping wanting more and turning pages unable to stop reading. This is a must read.

Summer Solstice (Legend Series Book 4)
Author: McKayla Schutt
Genre: PNR, Romance, Erotica
Blurb: Carmen’s smart ass mouth might have gotten her into trouble too many
times. The Elders call a meeting and Carmen fears it’s all because of her. To her relief, they call for a volunteer to go supervise the new witches down south. She needs to get away from her old coven and prays to the goddess above that the new coven will accept her as a permanent member. She wants to make a good impression with the new witches and hopes she can make a new home in Austin, Nevada. But when she imprints with a wolf and he wants to complete the bond, Carmen balks at the idea of a wolf witch couple. She can't make a good impression on the new coven if she's stuck with a wolf.
Aiden has always been an easy-going kind of wolf. That is until he imprints with a witch who doesn't want him. He needs to find a way to convince Carmen to complete the bond or lose his wolf forever. On his way back to make her see reason, Carmen is taken by a Devil Hunter. With so much at stake Aiden must find a way to keep his normally calm personality or risk losing everything.
***This is an erotica story- This is part of a series but this book can be read as a stand alone ***
My Review: Having read the first 3 books in this series I have been waiting to read this book and was not disappointed with it at all. Once again the author created great group of characters, most of which we have met in the previous 3 books but with the focus on the new witch in town Carmen and our second in command Aiden. This series has always been a must read and this book is no different. only wish it was longer.

Still Life
Author: Cordelia Michelsen
Genre: Romance, Interracial, Suspense, Erotic
Blurb: "Still Life" is a story of love, life, friendship and inevitable change, and
how what was supposed to happen will happen, no matter how we might feel about it.
Coralie is a small town girl who had everything she had ever wanted: the home that most women only dream of, a devoted sexy husband, a lifelong friendship, and her sister from another mister. But one day, everything changed.
Change was not something she was ever prepared to accept, but fate is a river that takes us where it chooses.
My Review: Can I give it more than 5 stars? This book is absolutely amazing, every time I thought I knew what was really happening a twist was thrown in the mix which kept me guessing till the end when the truth of it all was revealed. This book is about love, not just about loving someone but loving them enough to let go so they can move on and love again. This book is heartfelt and tear jerker in parts but will keep you wanting more from the first page to the last. A must read!

*Trigger Warning
**Drug Use

My Review: This is the first book in a new series by these two talented authors and they hit it out of the park. This story grabs you and sucks you in and holds you tight to the very end, I stayed up until 2am to finish this book because I simply could not put it down. The characters are all well thought out and complement each other and the book flows perfectly at a nice pace throughout. The story line is raw and emotional dealing with addiction, abuse and the mental issues that can come from them. This is a one click must!

Raped, beaten, and broken.
All I have left is my sanity.

Preston took my name, and my body.
Paxton took my heart.

Don't make me walk away.
***Trapped: Her Love Story is NOT for the faint of heart, and there are many warning that go along with it. Read at your own risk***
This book has a warning label for a reason, heed the warning! This book is dark, twisted, disturbed, and graphic in the best possible ways. This story will reach into the deepest depths of your mind and completely mind F*** you into submission and leave you with a book hangover from hell. With that said I absolutely LOVED this book and would give more than 5 stars if I could. Once I started reading this book I could not put it down and finished it in one sitting. If you are not squeamish and enjoy the much darker side of hell and what people are capable of this is a must read!!

Vindicate (Aspen's Secret Book 1)
AUTHOR: Virginia Johnson
GENRE: Erotica, Horror

There may be subject matter that could be sensitive to some readers. Discretion is advised.
Aspen Young is a girl with a past and an inner demon to feed.
Ethan West has been a playboy since his first wet dream but nothing could
prepare him for Aspen.
In Revenge, Aspen and Ethan collide in an erotic tale of mending the weak and awakening the strength within a woman. When the weak aren’t strong enough to survive, Aspen ends the pain and suffering of lost love and a pathetic heart, the only way she knows how.
In Vindicate, Aspen is tested with decisions that will help her continue to right the wrongs that have plagued women for centuries or destroy her as she falls into the same wreckage her victims are subjected to.
When Ethan proves to be stronger and smarter than the hunted failures of Aspen’s past, she is forced to make a decision that will ultimately change the life she has created for herself. Take revenge on those who constantly choose to relive the horror of their decisions and take their lives, one bloody heart at a time or end the lives of the people responsible for her need to vindicate her actions.
MT REVIEW: This book is different from any book I have read, in a good way!
This was the first book I have read from this author and won't be the last. This book also included the beginning short story Revenge from the book Doctrine of Indecency. This book is different from any that I have read, in a good way. The main character in this book is Aspen, is not the normal hero type, she is a crazy, psychotic b*tch that is hunted by her past. This book is full of the twisted games that two psychopaths love to play with each other which include action, blood, death and sex. This book is not for the faint of heart and if you’re looking for the HEA with all the hearts and flowers then move on this is not for you. If you want to read about a hot and twisted chick that gets off on a bloody kill, you will love this book as much as I did. Look forward to what is in store for Aspen next.

Trinity: MMF Bisexual Menage Romance
AUTHOR: M. Never
GENRE: Erotic, Bi-sexual Romance

BLURB: Two seductive strangers.
One scandalous night.

A trinity of temptation.

It was only supposed to be a single encounter. A night stripped of sexual inhibitions.
We were never supposed to become romantically involved.
But they were alluring and irresistible.
They were also the enemy.
Their company wants to take the one thing that means anything to me.
Now, I'm navigating a dicey path. Loving two men who can destroy me in a multitude of ways. They can shatter my heart, wreck my dreams, but worst of all, demolish the only place I've ever called home.
Trinity is 30k word M/M/F standalone novella. And, like with all M. Never works, spare panties may be required.
MY REVIEW: This is a short but oh so good story!
OMG WOW! Those are the first thoughts that come to mind about this book. This is a short read but so good. The hot steamy scenes are great but there is a good plot and story line to the book as well. This book will also take you on a emotional ride and turn you on, piss you off and make you cry. If you like erotic books and a M/M/F relationship then this is a must read.

Sweet Girls

**Trigger warning
*** Graphic Violence
MY REVIEW: Amazing Dark Erotic Thriller!

S. I. Hayes has done it again with this amazing dark erotic thriller. This novella may not be for everyone but I could not put it down. The action and suspense throughout the entire story with some darker content mixed in makes the story a page turner, add some hot and steamy scenes and this book everything need to make for an awesome read. Meet the Author - Barb Shuler

Welcome all.

Today I’m very lucky to be interviewing Barb Shuler author of The Cowboy Way Series, Rescue Novella Series, and Shattered Lives Series.

ME: Hi Barb, thank you for agreeing to this interview. Tell us a little about yourself and your background?
Barb Shuler: I'm originally from Texas but I am currently living in South
Carolina. I'm 37. Have a potty mouth, which i blame my best friends and mama for. LOL I've got a Texas sized temper that can get the nest of me at times. Generally, my redneck only shows a little. I'm a bookaholic introvert who is as content as can be to say in watch movies, read a book, work on my quilting, listen to music and/or write.

ME: Which writers inspire you?
Barb Shuler: My first love when it comes to books was Stephen King. I always
said I wanted to be like him. I never thought I'd actually take that leap, but after reading so many books, I got that itch to write and do it for real. I may never be Stephen King quality but I still admire his relationship with writing and aspire to be that kind of writer.

ME: What are you working on at the minute?
Barb Shuler: Ah, I am a multitasker, so I have many things going on at this moment:
Working on edits of my upcoming release (Sept 29) Primal Darkness.
Working on a new short story for the "Dirty Fairy Tales" Anthology which is to raise money for Autism. It's set to release in October.
I'm plotting and outlining four more books I plan to release in 2018.
And, last but not least I am working on "Finding Harmony" a cowboy
contemporary standalone that is set to release November 29th.

ME: Can you share a little of your current work with us?
Barb Shuler: Yes. I'd love too. This is a little snippet from Primal Darkness.
~ Dylan ~
As class rolled on I let my mind play back the first night I’d seen Ryker. He had been in the shadows, waiting for me to die, yet he saved my life, instead of letting nature work its magic on me.

The forest floor crunched under my feet, my body was on fire in multiple places and the blood covered my entire right side. The burn on my chest, the cross that deranged psycho put there. It fucking hurt. I tried to hold the cloth of what used to be my shirt over it as I stumbled along into the thicket of trees and brush.
The farmhouse was just ahead of me. I made it to the barn and fell into the hay. My breathing was ragged as I tried to get my mind to stop spinning. The torch light was not bright but it allowed me to see the burn mark on my chest. The cross was huge. I pried the cloth from the wound bringing with it flesh and blood. I cried out in pain. Breathing heavy, as if I had done a day’s work in the field. Tears leaked from me as the blood leaked from my chest. Death was waiting on me. I could feel it. I pulled the small knife from my boot and brought it to my wrists.
“Flesh to flesh. Heart to heart, until we meet again,” I murmured as my knife bit into the skin and into the flesh of my arm. I dug deep. The man’s words had been
ringing in my head since he placed that cross on my skin.
“Sinners be damned souls, lad. Be one with the Lord, let the devil inside ye free. Come join the living once more. Be a creation free of sin.”
The dimness in my eyes started to fade as the blood seeped from me to the hay below me.
The attack in the woods had happened so fast. I had taken a torch and made my way along the path to gather water from the river. It would be needed when first light came. This would save mother from having to go and gather it herself. I could feel the pain of the attack all over again. I coughed softly, wincing as pain took me to a new level of hell. My body would fade, and I would leave my
family alone.
There was a hiss from close by. My eyes fluttered open to see a woman was standing before me. She whispered something as a man knelt alongside me. His golden eyes bore into mine before he changed. His body went to all fours and then a wolf was before me. I tried to jerk away but the lack of blood and coordination stopped me.
With one fluid motion, he had my arm in his muzzle. The bite sent fire through me. A second bite caused a shuddered groan to leave me before my body convulsed. My head fell back further into the hay as my back arched. Pain radiated all over now. A howl rang out across the barn as my body slumped and my vision went black.
© This snippet is unedited and subject to change.

ME: Which actor/actress would you like to see playing the lead character from your most recent book?
Barb Shuler: Oh, from day one Kellan Lutz has been my inspiration for Dylan
(Primal Darkness). I mean, he is actually inspiration for a few of my characters.
Talk about Heaven in a pair of jeans. (faints) He really brings Dylan to life in my head as Dylan is a Lacrosse playing, undercover cop who can turn into a 1400-pound grizzly bear.... So yeah.. muscles and dimples. That is what I see.

ME: When did you decide to become a writer?
Barb Shuler: I've always liked to write but a year ago in June I decided to stop talking about it and just do it. I needed something to relieve some stress, so it became a win win situation.

ME: Do you write on a typewriter, computer, dictate or longhand?

Barb Shuler: Right now, I switch between writing in my notebooks and writing on my laptop. I will use the notes app in my phone as well. If I am not able to be on my laptop I have the google doc apps on my phone so I just use that. It makes it so I can write anywhere.

ME: Do you work to an outline or plot or do you prefer just to see where an idea takes you?
Barb Shuler: That depends on the story itself. I usually have an outline. I want this, this and this to happen... but the voices don't always go for that. I have only two outlines that went from a to z as planned. The rest were started, the voices did something unplanned and we just rolled with it. That can be more fun, and more of a frustration but if it works, it works.

ME: Do you read much and if so who are your favorite authors.
Barb Shuler: I read all the time. I have many, many favorite authors. I don't think there are authors that I don't like. There are books I prefer over others. Some of my absolute favorites are Shari J Ryan, Annie Anderson, Jessie Lane, Jesse Lorenzo, Susan Stoker, Shannon Mayer, Kelly St Claire.. the list goes on and on. haha

ME: Do you think that giving books away free works and why?
Barb Shuler: I do. In moderation. I like to give books away, that is something good for fans, readers and the alike. It's a way to get your name out there and hopefully you get a new fan from it. It sometimes only takes one book for
someone to read everything you have.

ME: How do you relax?
Barb Shuler: Reading, writing, sewing, and playing with my dog are my usual modes to chill. My dog is a great stress reliever. Watching her run back and forth to catch her ball is peaceful.

ME: What is your favorite book and why?
Barb Shuler: This is a really hard question, as I have a few favorites, but my all-time favorite book is Stephen King's Pet Semetary. Talk about a book that never gets old. I love it so much!

ME: What is your favorite quote?
Barb Shuler: "The secret of being happy is accepting where you are in life and making the most out of every day." ~ Unknown

ME: What advice would you give to aspiring writers?
Barb Shuler: I will give the same advice given to me of over the last year. Be yourself. Write with the passion burning inside you, and don’t be afraid to write what you love. If you have confidence in your writing, it will show.

ME: What does your writing process look like?
Barb Shuler: Chaos. It's a lot of chaos. I have to have my Avengers cup full of something to drink. There has to be music, and then my desk/or the table where I sit has notebooks, pens, post its, markers everywhere. Again, I say, chaos.

ME: What is your least favorite part of the publishing / writing process?
Barb Shuler: The legal stuff on the publishing sites. I have a hard time comprehending exactly what it means. It should be a helluva lot simpler. So, I go to my friend, and fellow author Annie Anderson for help. Without her, I'd be lost.

ME: Is there a certain type of scene that's harder for you to write than others? Love? Action? Racy?
Barb Shuler: The only thing that gives me trouble is writing the naughty stuff. I mean, I can do it, but I always feel it sucks. It's like I want it to be perfect, yet it’s hard to write something in detail when you may have never done it before. (laughs)

ME: Did you learn anything from writing your book(s) and what was it?
Barb Shuler: That I really can do anything I set my mind to. The dream of a little girl long ago has come true because I made it happen.

ME: Name one entity that you feel supported you outside of family members.
Barb Shuler: There have been many but I would have to say my biggest fan is my bff, Emily. She has been by my side through this all. I have been writing things that have been published on social feeds since late 2009. She has always been there to hold my hand basically, and tell me "you've got this." This is a journey that I could not have started without her, and it's one I could not continue without her.

ME: Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?
Barb Shuler: Some days I just have to many things going on at once that it is hard to concentrate. That stresses me out more. Writing is my therapy. Plain and simple. So when it's taken from me, I sort of have a meltdown.

ME: What book are you reading now?
Barb Shuler: I multitask as a reader as well. My ADHD makes it hard to do one thing for long sometimes so I rotate out my reading. Right now, I have:
Firestorm - Shannon Mayer
Acca - Christina Bauer (Audio ARC)
SEAL's Promise - Sharon Hamilton
Claiming Alexis - Susan Stoker

ME: Which famous person, living or dead would you like to meet and why?
Barb Shuler: It's hard to choose here. I have always wanted to meet Stephen King and Reba McIntyre. Both of whom I simply adore. They are tied on my scale of 1-100. They are both 100's.

ME: What is your favorite theme/genre to write about?
Barb Shuler: Suspense/Thrillers. they are the easiest and most fun to write. i can take someone and completely tear their lives apart but then I get to put them back together.

ME: What is your favorite theme/genre to read?
Barb Shuler: It's a tossup between so many. Horror, suspense, thriller, and PNR.

ME: What secret talents do you have?
Barb Shuler: Well, not sure it's a talent but I can sort and color code with the best of them. I blame my OCD. LOL

ME: Where is one place you want to visit that you haven't been before?
Barb Shuler: I want to go to Australia. It has been on my bucket list for, forever! I will get there one day. even if I have to deal with spiders the size of my head...

ME: How can readers discover more about you and you work? i.e. Website: Blog: Facebook: Twitter: Lnkedin: Pinterest: Amazon Author Page: Smashwords: Book Links: (* American, UK, etc.) Goodreads:

ME: Is there anything else you would like to add that I haven’t included?
Barb Shuler: Not that I can think of. I would like to say thank you to you and all of the bloggers out there. This would be so much harder without the hard work you guys and gals put into sharing and putting our books out there. <3

ME: Thank you very much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to take part in this interview.

Barb Shuler: Thank you for having me. It was an honor. :)
