This is book 2 in the series and because book 1 does not end in a cliffhanger, I did not expect a book 2 in the series but am so glad the author decided to continue the story of Chase and Kat. This book takes you further into the true world behind addiction and what it can do to not only you but your family. That no matter how long you are sober and clean, one event, one choice, one accident can suck you back down the black hole of addiction. This book also shows you what courage, hope, strength and unconditional love is. I fell in love with Kat and Chase all over again in this story and experienced a full range of emotions from excitement to scared, love, anger, sad, happy and joy with a few tears mixed in for good measure. This book and this series is a must read!
